Ohhhh yessss! You read that right, you’re about to watch a live proposal!
When Ross asked me to come out and photograph this, I was hype!!!!! (spoiler alert, he said yes… and we’re shooting the wedding… AHHHHH!!!!)
AAAANNNNDDDDD… when I saw the engagement ring Ross was proposing with, my exact response, “OHHHH MYYYYY GOSHHHH ROSSSSSS! YOU GOT HIM A TACOOOOORI!!!!”
We showed up when he was getting ready and prepping their apartment for the surprise. David was out shopping with a friend who was in on the surprise and knew the exact time to be back.
Ross had what I would guess to be 50 balloons with photos of the two of them hanging below attached to the balloon strings. In the bathroom he laid out new clothes he bought for David to change into.
When he was done prepping the room, we headed to the roof of their apartment to wait for David. Megan stayed back to get his reaction. THENNNNN HEEEEEE ARRRRIIIIIIVED!!!! To say David was surprised would be an understatement!
Up to the roof he went while Ross and I waited.
….and thennnnn it happened!
HE SAID YES!!!!
The sun had already set at this point and the clouds were moving in quickly… so we hurried along and grabbed a few portraits.

Ross even had a custom snapchat geofilter for the occasion. This was the reaction to Ross showing him. 😀
Their friends and family then joined us on the roof… SURPRISE!
…but the rain that we thought was going to stop any second… welllll… yeahhhh… it diiiiidn’t….
I actually met Ross while he was interning for a local wedding planner and we all know that every good planner has a back up plan! Into the lounge we went where they celebrated with their crew.
Ross & David, how damn exciting to have been a part of this! We adore you both and are incredibly excited and honored to be asked to photograph your proposal and your eventual wedding. THIS IS SOOOO EXCIIIIIITINNNNNG!!!!! We’ll see you soon. 😀
