Mary and Seth are wedding and portrait photographers based in Ottawa Illinois.
We’d been planning this session for months and we were all ridiculously excited… and they were driving in four hours just for this session… so when I sent them a text about 20 minutes before the session started to let them know where we parked… and they weren’t responding, I thought it was odd.
Wellllll… that was because it was THAT moment that they realized that Illinois and Indiana were on different time zones! ENDUCE FULL PANIC MODE! Sooo…. yeahhhh… they were a liiiiiittle late. 😉 So, the second they parked we all sprung into action! 😀

We read in their pre-session questionnaire that Judah (pictured below) loved firetrucks, and we happened to know where a fire station was near on our photo path.
When we walked up there was a group firemen were all sitting outside enjoying the weather. I asked if we could take a photo in front of the truck. THENNNN one of the firemen asked if Judah wanted to get in. BUT OF COURSE HE WANTED TO GET INNNN! I mean… looook at that faaaaace!

Based on many of the expressions that Cece gave me, you’d have thought she wasn’t my biggest fan. But looks can be deceiving! At the end of the session she was asking Megan and I if we could come to Ottawa for a slumber party and was so sad when she realized that we were too far away. 🙂 The feeling is mutual Cece. 🙁

Umm… I never would’ve known you had to ‘rally’ for this session based on these amaaaaazing images! In fact, when I saw the sneak peek image pop up on my FB newsfeed, it instantly trigged quintessential ‘Bobbi’ photo. SO many good ones here, but I would expect nothing less. My faves: images in front of the orange wall, boy in tires, and that cute little tushie on that striped blue blanket! GAAHHHHH…!
