“Hey Bobbi, do you shoot same sex weddings?” ABSOLUTELY LOUIE! Wanna see one? Okay, but be warned… you’re going to wish you were having a same sex wedding of your own after seeing them! Alright, maybe that’s a stretch… unless of course you’re gay… then that’s not so much of a stretch… but… whatever… you get the idea. Shushing now. ONWARD TO THE AMAZINGNESS!

Ross & David

Ross & David got ready at the salon with the bridesmaids. They put on their tuxes back in the spa. I wasn’t allowed to talk, I won’t lie, it wasn’t easy.

The morning of their wedding some protesters were on the Monument Circle carrying photos of very disturbing and not-wedding-appropriate signs. So when we showed up to shoot, I handled it. 😉 You need not worry about shiz like that when you have Bobbi and MegMoney as your wedding photographers, we have ZERO shame in our wedding game!

I LOVE that vertical photo of you two. Your love is just the damn best.

HOLY HUGE WEDDING PARTY BATMAN!

The wedding party walked down the aisle to their spots while Ross and David entered from the top of the stairs. I was with them while Megan was photographing the walk down the aisle. My plan was, after they got into position, to go back inside and down the elevator so I could shoot the ceremony from the ground level. Welllll… I found out the hard way that those doors locked behind me. WHAAA??!!? I WAS STUCK! Noooo!!!! So, I scanned the wedding party for a gap so I could squeeze through. I whispered into my head piece, “Megan, I’m goin’ in!” So, in the midst of the ceremony here comes Bobbi just walking through the wedding party. I sucked it in and squeezed through two people without requiring them to move. I’ll be honest, I barely fit (I’ve put on a bit of weight this year, damn stress got the best of me!). After I got to the bottom and shot a few frames I thought, “I’m in too deep, the guests have seen me do it, I’m going back!” And so I did. Have I mentioned that I have no shame?

Side note, my personal rule during the ceremony: if I feel that I’m a distraction, then I’m a distraction. I move quietly, calmly and avoid eye contact while moving. If I’m up with the wedding party I stand behind them; if I’m shooting in front of the wedding party, I crouch low.

I mean… if I weren’t so gutsy I wouldn’t have captured this sweetness! Ross reading David his vows.

I loved every part of the ceremony and loved exchanging vows.

Ross’ and David’s vows truly were one of the best parts of the day.

Listening to David read his vows was the only moment of the day that is not a blur.

When Ross and I were brainstorming about his wedding day over a year ago I suggested to him that they have an outfit change between the ceremony and reception. They loved that idea! In other words, I’m a damn genius. 😉

We don’t call her MegMoney for nothin’! PS. Double negatives, even when joking, hurt my ears.

Love them so much!
